A lot has happened since my last post. We’ve been hanging around in Michigan and this morning drove to Peoria IL to play a show with Emmure tonight.

I’ve slept in the van a lot because a lot peoples houses aren’t the best. I mean wow I am spoiled. Its really opened my eyes to how lucky I am and how shitty some people have it. I don’t think the realize it though, and they are okay with it. It just makes me very thankful for all that I have.

I’m really having so much fun touring though. After our Southgate MI show we went to this house party at this really nice house with no furniture in it that some college students rented. The neighborhood wasn’t the best but we did make the best of it. We went to get more beer at this crazy ass liquor store and I wanted french fries really bad so I yell out “Do you have french fries here?!” haha so dumb. Then later on Joe came to sleep in the van with Drummer and I and hes like “Um do you think we might die out here?” haha but we left the van doors open anyways.

After that we had our show in Yeps… MI (I dont remeber the weird ass town name) It was an alright show and after words we went to a doods trailer to sleep with Woe of Tyrants. The trailer park was nice, but this doods trailer was a mess. I called van sleeping for sure. The dood was so werid though, he didn’t know his left from right for real. He was giving the guys directions to a liquor store and honestly was like “left!” and jay was like “I’m turning left!” dood goes “I mean the other left!” and did this multiple times. Werid. Ha it was the first night hanging with Woe of Tyrants. They are cool funny doods. Tate, the bassist decided to light a firework out of his butt. It was pretty amazing and I definately got that on video.

I think I’m losing weight. I’ve been running in the mornings before we leave the houses we stay at and I hardly eat all day because I’m busy or just not hungry and want to save money. But I do drink home made margaritas and it’s pretty tasteeee!

Tonight the show is suposed to be pretty packed so I hope we can sell a lot of merch. I don’t know what else to write besides everyone have a sick Father’s Day! Especially my Dad!!!

So the guys came and got me from the aeroport at 1 am and first thing was first, we had to go to a strip club, yay? haha Just my luck it was closed by the time we got there, dang. haha

We decided to hit up a Walmart parking lot and grill the fuck out of the night. An assortment of meat given to us by the nice folks at Walmart and a portable grill, we were set. First night I got to sleep in the van, not as bad as I thought.

This morning I woke up took a nice tour shower in the Walmart bathroom where the Toledoians (is that right?) gave me nice looks haha. Mayb it was me walking in with Scotts trucker hat on backwards and a big back ack that made me look like a 12 year old run away. Any who I made it sick doing that then went for a run.

Today is a day off so we went to Guitar Center and got some sheit and another Walmart to get more meats for another grillin at their friend Ryans house. He recorded their new album. It is so American summer of us to be grillin so much. I love it.

So I got to take a real sick shower while the doods are making final tweeks on their album. Tonight I think we are going to their other friends house for a party or something. Should be fun. I havent got to take photos yet, but I will soon.

Other then that tour life thus far is sickery. More updates to come as internet is available!

Getting Ready

Hi All,

So I am going out on tour with my friends in Within The Ruins. They are also on tour with Woe of Tyrants, The World We Knew, and Structures. I am SOOOOOOOOOO excited to be able to listen to WOT every single night!!!! I’m also super pumped to make it sick with my Dads in WTR for a good 2 weeks!

I made this blog so I can post videos, pictures, and tell you all about my time on the road. It’s been a dream of mine to do this for some time now. I came upon this awesome opportunity when my job laid me off. I took the positive side of things and was like shesh! This is so perfect, I’m going to go live life and do something I’ve been dreaming about doing for years. Screw the 9 to 5!!!

So a few days later I bought my plane tickets to meet up with them in Detriot and go with them all through the mid west and through texas. Then I will be leaving July 3rd to get back to my job. Oh wait, but didn’t I say I got laid off? Thats right! Buuuuutttttttttttttt the planets alined and decided to give me job secreity along with living my dream. Andddd I got a promotion, talk about someone looking out for me or what?! Haha sick!

While on tour I plan on making a sick doc of my adventures, but I’ll post random video and photos throughout the weeks for you to keep up to date. Most of this was made possible by my wonderful boyfriend who got me this SICK camera for my birthday!!!! Aw, I will miss him soooooo much!

Well there are 2 more days left in sunny LA to prep, tonight I got lots of laundry and packing to do, tomorrow I gotta get all my travel sized shampoos and whatnots together so I can take “tour showers” in McDonalds restrooms. Looking forward to that!!! haha

If any of you have been on tour and are reading this throw me some tips! Otherwise wish me luck, it’s going to be one crazy experience!!!!
